We are currently in the process of establishing a Food Co-Op Grocery Store in Warren, Ohio.
The goal of this effort is to create a sustainable and accessible food co-op that promotes healthy eating, community engagement, and environmental responsibility.
Pastor Floyd holds monthly Food Co-Op Community Meetings to share what progress has been made with bringing this vision to life. Meetings are open to the community and all are welcome and encouraged to attend.
As of 2026, we have completed a thorough feasibility study which highlights the immediate need for more accessible, healthy grocer options in our community. The study also broke down where the most need is, why current grocer options alone do not suffice, and how the food co-op would most benefit our community. The study’s findings were presented during the final Food Co-Op Community Meeting of 2025. Highlights from the study were included during a local news broadcast that aired later that evening following the meeting.
